There is something almost intimate and personal about displaying your guests escort cards in small envelopes. It’s as if you have prepared a little surprise in each envelope for your guests.
I love this idea for escort cards. You can easily make the little envelopes yourself (like I have done) or simply buy small envelopes for your cards.
Simply write or print your guests names on the front of the envelopes and then place the escort cards inside stating the table numbers for your guests. When you have prepared your envelopes and cards there are a countless of ways to display them. Many couples simply lay out the envelopes on a table decorated with flowers in vases, candles or whatever fits their wedding theme. Some couples hang the envelopes on lines with pegs, pin them up on boards, hang them in small trees, attach them to a tree trunk using ribbon, sit them upright in sand-filled trays or on top of flower buds in gorgeous rows on trays. Only your imagination sets the limit.
