Little Love Birds on branches creates a beautiful & charming atmosphere for the wedding ceremony. “Bird themed” weddings have always been popular and exist in many variations and color combinations. Let “Love Birds” hang from branches over you and your “husband-to-be” as you say “Yes”, hang them from the flower decoration at the wedding ceremony, glue them onto a piece of dowel and place them in pot plants. Even shape your tags for the Wishing Tree into little love birds.

The birds are gorgeous and quite easy to make. Simply find a bird shape you like, apply it onto a piece of cardboard, cut it out and your Love Bird template is ready. Take your template and place it on top of the paper your want you birds on. Trace around the edges with a pencil and cut out your birds with a pair of scissors.

Finally use a hole puncher to make a hole on the back of the bird and tread a piece of ribbon or sting through it. Tie a knot on the ribbon and your birds are ready.

If you decide on a bird themed wedding then consider the idea of having a large vintage-looking (empty) bird cage for your guests to place their Wishing Tags in. The bird cage will go really well with the bird theme!
