Here is a quaint & unique DIY wedding detail which deserves mentioning. I came up with the idea of wrapping wedding favors in brown baking paper for an old fashion look. The slight transparency of the baking paper gives the favors a wonderful almost Vintage-like look & feel. To complete the idea I decorated the wrapped favor boxes with some raffia-rope and a few sprigs of fresh lavender.
The possibilities are endless and the result is gorgeously unique. I made three different variations of this DIY wedding idea. If you use this idea I would love to see your suggestions and publish them on the site.
TIP: When using baking paper it can be quite difficult to get the tape to stick properly. I used a tiny bit of glue to keep the paper in place in stead.
