Brooke & Ryan - Bald Head Island, NC

Brooke and Ryan live in New York but had their wedding on magical Bald Head Island, a coastal haven off the southern coast of North Carolina. When seeing these pictures it is easy to understand why Brooke and Ryan chose to celebrate their wedding there!

Brooke the beautiful bride...I love the shoes!Ryan the groom!
I love the combination of the purple & white shirt and the orange Ranunculus.. Ranunculus flowers are one of my most favorite wedding flowers!

Vintage-inspired DIY details
A gorgeous mix of yellow and orange flowers in old glass bottles makes stunning vintage-inspired DIY wedding centerpieces. And the handmade hearts are so cute with their personal "R & B" touch to them!

The ceremony
I love the handwritten boards!
A festive and wonderfully "noisy" alternative to the traditional option of throwing rice or bird seeds..!

Ohh happy day!

More beautiful details of Brooke and Ryan's wedding - the book "What should we name our kids" is such a good idea and will surely be fun reading for years to come!

Wow!
The wedding table decorations are so simple and so incredibly beautiful! I love everything about it!
The country-style table setting with the small flowers on the napkins is incredibly charming. And the idea of using a few flowers for the table decorations mixed in with lanterns, small bottles and mason jars makes it all come together!

Stunning Bald Head Island backdrop!
What a magical place! It's not hard to understand why Brooke and Ryan chose to celebrate their wedding on Bald Head Island!

Brooke in her amazing dress!
Gorgeous DIY wedding ideas and inspiration!
It's so simple but SO beautiful. Use mason jars as lanterns for your wedding table decorations. Decorate some of the jars with twine and pop the candles inside! The result is truly amazing! I published a tutorial some months ago on how to make lanterns out of recycled jars. You can see the wedding lanterns tutorial here.

Romantic in the afternoon light!
A fun-filled afternoon of sunshine and island charm!

What a fantastic idea!
Brooke and Ryan's "R & B" adds a very personal and unique touch to the entire wedding!

More charming details!
The happy couple!
A wonderful DIY approach to the normal guest book..wedding chains! I love this idea!
Wedding chains!
Isn't it charming to use wedding chains instead of a traditional guest book! You can also use wedding paper chains as decoration for your wedding venue!

Brooke and Ryan's Bald Head Island Wedding
What a beautiful and inspiring wedding. A big thanks to Heather and Grayson from Jagger Photography for sharing it with us!

Brooke and Ryan used jars as lanterns! Sweet!

Ryan’s dad has a house on Bald Head Island so the couple spend their summers enjoying the sheer beauty of this amazing retreat. They have a real connection with the property and this could be easily seen with all the small and charming details of their wedding. The choice of beautiful yellow & orange flowers goes so amazingly well with the rustic and charming look of this island wedding in early fall. It all looks so beautiful, charming and effortless but I am sure it took great planning to get everything ready. I am totally in love with the photography by www.jaggerphotography.com , all the gorgeous DIY style details and the unique decorating ideas of this wedding.

Sorry to burst everyone's bubble, but I'd hardly call this wedding DIY...they used one of the most expensive event planners in the area...great ideas though!

love the dress, and the shoes and the spirit:) i would SHAVE the groom, however, and BRUSH his hair a little too.. a good looking dude he is from what i can tell, but it looks too casual -- did he just roll out of bed? lol

LOVE THE DRESS as well! Am definitely wanting something like this. Looks so light and flowy! Would like to either make a dress similar to this with the short front and long flowy back or alter an existing dress. Any tips, ideas, suggestions?!?! Thanks!
