As seen in Marieé - The French Wedding Magazine!
We were proudly asked to contribute with some new ideas and material for a large DIY article in the Marieé Magazine this year! This idea was just one of our ideas published.
There is something almost intimate and personal about displaying your guests escort cards in small envelopes. It’s as if you have prepared a little surprise in each envelope for your guests.
I love this idea for escort cards. You can easily make the little envelopes yourself using my
DIY EDIT & PRINT template.

The template for the escort card envelopes is editable so you can personalize and customize to your hearts delight. Just add your own personal text using any font, font size & font color you like. The magic really happens once you print out your envelopes on your favorite paper. It's really so easy and you can print as many envelopes as you need for your wedding day.
Start by opening the template on your home computer. Press CTRL + E to open the formatting tool bar. Select the font you like, set the size and color and write your guests names, where indicated, on the front of the envelopes. Then simply print out the templates, cut out the envelopes and fold & glue the small envelopes together. Lastly you place your small escort cards, with the table numbers, inside each envelope and your eascort cards are ready. I have also made an editable template for Small Wedding Gift Tags which fits perfectly into the Small Escort Card Envelopes.
When you have prepared your envelopes and escort cards there are a countless of ways to display them. Many couples simply lay out the envelopes on a table decorated with flowers in vases, candles or whatever fits their wedding theme. Some couples hang the envelopes on lines with pegs, pin them up on boards, hang them in small trees, attach them to a tree trunk using ribbon, sit them upright in sand-filled trays or on top of flower buds in gorgeous rows on trays. Only your imagination sets the limit.
Enjoy your DIY wedding escort card project.
