Paper chains can be amazingly elaborate, beautifully simple, short or as long as you would like them to be. However they are sure to be festive!

Use your paper chains to decorative your wedding venue, wedding reception venue or simply use the same small loops as napkin rings.

If using my template below, one piece of A4 paper will make you a chain which is about 30” long (14 loops).

If you plan to make very long chains make sure you use really good crafting glue as the chains eventually will be heavy. Alternatively use small crafting paper fasteners to seure the ends of each loop and ensure the chains stay together.

All I did was to write a personal text on every second line of my template and then simply cut the strips with a decorative edged pair of scissors instead of using a normal pair of scissors. By using edged scissors my wedding paper chain almost look like it has a lace border. A really lovely feminine touch!

TIP: Edged scissors are easy to find, relatively inexpensive and exists in many different variations. You can buy them online or in craft stores.

Enjoy your DIY wedding project!
