Brooke and Ryan live in New York but had their wedding on magical Bald Head Island, a coastal haven off the southern coast of North Carolina. When seeing these pictures it is easy to understand why Brooke and Ryan chose to celebrate their wedding there!
I love the combination of the purple & white shirt and the orange Ranunculus.. Ranunculus flowers are one of my most favorite wedding flowers!
A gorgeous mix of yellow and orange flowers in old glass bottles makes stunning vintage-inspired DIY wedding centerpieces. And the handmade hearts are so cute with their personal "R & B" touch to them!
A festive and wonderfully "noisy" alternative to the traditional option of throwing rice or bird seeds..!
More beautiful details of Brooke and Ryan's wedding - the book "What should we name our kids" is such a good idea and will surely be fun reading for years to come!
The country-style table setting with the small flowers on the napkins is incredibly charming. And the idea of using a few flowers for the table decorations mixed in with lanterns, small bottles and mason jars makes it all come together!
What a magical place! It's not hard to understand why Brooke and Ryan chose to celebrate their wedding on Bald Head Island!
It's so simple but SO beautiful. Use mason jars as lanterns for your wedding table decorations. Decorate some of the jars with twine and pop the candles inside! The result is truly amazing! I published a tutorial some months ago on how to make lanterns out of recycled jars. You can see the wedding lanterns tutorial here.
A fun-filled afternoon of sunshine and island charm!
Brooke and Ryan's "R & B" adds a very personal and unique touch to the entire wedding!
Isn't it charming to use wedding chains instead of a traditional guest book! You can also use wedding paper chains as decoration for your wedding venue!
What a beautiful and inspiring wedding. A big thanks to Heather and Grayson from Jagger Photography for sharing it with us!
Ryan’s dad has a house on Bald Head Island so the couple spend their summers enjoying the sheer beauty of this amazing retreat. They have a real connection with the property and this could be easily seen with all the small and charming details of their wedding. The choice of beautiful yellow & orange flowers goes so amazingly well with the rustic and charming look of this island wedding in early fall. It all looks so beautiful, charming and effortless but I am sure it took great planning to get everything ready. I am totally in love with the photography by www.jaggerphotography.com , all the gorgeous DIY style details and the unique decorating ideas of this wedding.
